Guide to a Happy, Healthy and Long Life

Longevity is a hot topic in the Wellness community today but we need to look at longevity AND living a joyful, fun life. We are lacking human connection, compassion, gratitude and daily practices to improve our emotional well being. Emotional health is very much as important as your physical health to live a happy, long life. Practicing meditation (help with Insight Timer app), gratitude, positive manifestations each day can increase energy levels, decrease blood pressure, help us feel more happy, generous and compassionate. Simple actions like picking up the phone to call a friend, sending a card, walking in nature mindfully, being creative or cooking a meal can all decrease loneliness, depression, anxiety and promote healthy sleep and energy throughout the day. Treatments such as Acupuncture, Massage, and Yoga classes can help too. Consider shifting your perspective each morning for the next week and name 5 things you are grateful for as you start your day and see how positively your day unfolds. Let's practice together!
