Acupuncture for Allergy Relief!

Spring is here and I know for many of you that means allergies!  This can manifest as stuffy or runny nose, itchy eyes, sinus pressure and headaches and overall low energy.  Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs can help ease these symptoms and strengthen your immune system so your body does not react to so many pollens and grasses.  In just one treatment, I can relieve sinus pressure and stuffiness, headaches, and itchy eyes.  Chinese herbs can be used in a capsule or liquid form to help in between acupuncture sessions.  This is much healthier way to treat allergies than with over the counter medications that can become addictive and stop being effective.  Please call or email today so we can set you up to get through this allergy season with ease!  Happy Spring Everyone!!

Storms, Disasters: How to Stay Healthy

Last post I discussed the importance of human connection and community. And the importance of being okay with asking for help. Well now it is our time to help! We are so fortunate in Charleston to have dodged any major storms so far. Time to take action and help the devastation in North Carolina. Simple acts of kindness can go along way. I am asking all of you if possible to bring in any donations you may have and I will get them to Asheville. Current list of items needed: heavy socks, warm jackets, blankets, hand warmers, water filters, batteries, flashlights, propane tanks, long lighters, tarps and camp stoves. I also want you to note how helping makes you feel. Does it increase your feel good endorphins, thereby increasing your health and Immunity? For me, helping decreases my stress and anxiety about all the devastation. So it's a win win, your small acts of kindness helps those in need and helps you stay healthy. As always, make sure you are practicing self care as all the chaos going on right now takes it's toll on everyone's physical and mental health. Please come in and see me for a tune up!

Be well and be kind, Jane
