Acupuncture for Allergy Relief!

Spring is here and I know for many of you that means allergies!  This can manifest as stuffy or runny nose, itchy eyes, sinus pressure and headaches and overall low energy.  Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs can help ease these symptoms and strengthen your immune system so your body does not react to so many pollens and grasses.  In just one treatment, I can relieve sinus pressure and stuffiness, headaches, and itchy eyes.  Chinese herbs can be used in a capsule or liquid form to help in between acupuncture sessions.  This is much healthier way to treat allergies than with over the counter medications that can become addictive and stop being effective.  Please call or email today so we can set you up to get through this allergy season with ease!  Happy Spring Everyone!!

Dealing with Injuries and Pain! A New Perspective!

As many of you know, I fractured my 5th metatarsal a week ago and am restricted at work, in exercise and basically all of my life. This started to get me down pretty quickly as I am normally very active, love to be outside and love my work. So I had to shift my perspective and look inside and figure out how to learn from this injury.

What I learned: I can still meditate, I can still sit outside in the sun with my dog, I can paint, I can read, I can enjoy many things that don't require me to put weight on my foot. I am looking at this as an opportunity to grow internally while my physical body heals. Being mindful, at peace, and knowing that this positive state of mind will help me heal quickly and fully.

I am also always grateful to experience an injury that maybe I can help someone with in the future with Acupuncture. One of my primary goals as a practitioner is to get all of you out back doing what you love as quickly as possible!

If you are suffering from chronic pain or a recent injury, shift your perspective, remain positive, tell yourself daily how you are healing and come in for Acupuncture to help you along the way. Hope this finds you all healthy and enjoying this beautiful Spring!
